About Our Commercial Locks
We carry a wide range of commercial locks, including mortise, cylindrical, deadbolt, and electronic:
-
Mortise: These locks need an edge door pocket so a lock case can be fitted. They are more expensive than cylindrical style locks but provide superb strength and durability, which makes them well suited to high traffic areas.
-
Cylindrical: These come in two forms, which are cylindrical lever locks and cylindrical knob locks. Cylindrical lever locks are installed through boring dual circular holes within the door. Cylindrical knobs are less common, but have multiple functions and can be used with openings that don’t need to be in compliance with the ADA.
-
Deadbolt: These locks provide additional resistance against break-ins especially when they supplement cylindrical locks. They can also be combined with door pulls and may be installed in doors with standardized bore holes.
-
Electronic: Also known as keypad locks, these are excellent for doorways that need a solution that is secure and non-keyed. However, the majority of these locks will utilize either a key or cylinder override.
